A.What is tomorrow?Why is that important?

Tomorrow is September 11, the day that terrorists ran planes into our world trade center. Tomorrow is also important because Obama is trying to persuade Congress to bomb Syria. Back then, we invaded Iraq, and now, bombing Syria would look very similar.

B.What is happening tonight?  Include the following:  Congressional  support- House and Senate support - American public's support - What is the President's asking for?  What do you think about all of this?

The president is addressing the nation on Syria tonight. The president is asking for the punishment of Syria for using chemical weapons. His address is to ask for the congressional support, house and senate support, and the American public's support. But because Russia is negotiating with Syria to give up the chemical weapons, voting on action from the Congress is being put off.

My thought:

If Syria does decide to give up its chemical weapons, great. But the fact that the Syrian government is still fighting and killing its own citizens needs to be addressed. My opinion is that if the Syrian government continues to murder citizens, America should still take military actions.

Response to Obama's Push For Syria Votes

As the White House gears up to persuade Congress to punish the Syrian government for use of chemical weapon. I think that the time could of have come much sooner. Although death through chemical weapons is a very inhumane way to die, a bullet to the head isn't far off . Killing is killing, the fact that Syria fired on it's own citizens to begin with deserves punishment.
